Author Biography

Shen Xingzhou, LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore

Shen Xingzhou is a writer and artist. She studied English at Shanghai International Studies University, obtained her master’s degree in visual culture studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is now pursuing her second master degree in Fine Arts at LASALLE, the college of arts, Singapore.

She writes in both English and Chinese. Her poems have appeared in many literary magazines and newspapers in Hong Kong. In 2015, her English drama ‘Breathe Me’ was adapted into a physical theater, shown in public. In 2017, she published her first bilingual book of poems ‘Hui’ in Hong Kong and Taiwan. As an artist, her works of photography, handcrafts, installations have been exhibited in many galleries and museums in Hong Kong and Singapore.
