Performing Arts and the Consumer
Abstract
This paper looks at some of the marketing issues facing the administration of regional performing arts centres in Australia. The issues raised apply particularly to the Townsville Civic Theatre, however, the same or similar issues face the operators of Council or community owned theatres in most provincial population centres.
