Abstract

This paper surveys the life and work of nineteenth century South Australian pianist and teacher Moritz Heuzenroeder. In acomplishing this, Elizabeth Wood examines the opperatic activities, accompaniaments and recitals performed by Heuzenroeder. The piece also highlights the pianists work within the German comunity of the Barossa throughout his life.
